Stick and Move Dance Crew is a team of dancers from the
south side of Chicago that
specialize in break dancing, martial arts, choreography, acrobatics, improv,
comedy, and a slue of other talents. The crew began as a group of determined
High school students who joined together to perform at local talent shows and
competitions. As the years passed Stick and Move developed a unique chemistry
unparalleled by other dance groups, redefining the dance world around them.
Since then, Stick and Move as gained public acclaim performing on
Chicago's Magnificent Mile, in New
Orleans' famed French Quarter, Daytona
Beach Florida's Ocean Walk Resort; at events such as the
Taste of
Chicago, and winning BET's Spring Bling 2005 National
Dance Competition. The group has also performed with some many of today's

Modern dance. Hiphop in it's natural state is a collaboration
and melting pot of many art forms, creating a vehicle where they can
be expressed together with out boundaries. Stick and Move use these elements
to highlight the common thread in humanity that has a strong presence in
the cross-cultural practice of what we call Hiphop today. The
groups Mission is to educate, entertain, and inspire Humanity through
Innovative artistry. Stick and move personifies Real H.i.p.h.o.p., Healthy
Independent People Helping Other People, dancing, making this planet a better
place to be.
